LEMON TREE | CLEANER-DISINFECTANT
LEMON TREE is a pleasant lemon scented cleaner, disinfectant and sanitizer designed for institutional use such as Hospitals, Nursing Homes and Institutions where housekeeping will be of prime importance in controlling the hazard of cross infection. LEMON TREE is very effective for controlling odors caused by the growth of bacteria, mold, mildew and fungi. It is recommended for use on floors, walls, sinktops, garbage pails, telephones, rest rooms, bedpans and operating rooms.
COMMERCIAL USE ONLY
DISINFECTION:
For general disinfection and cleaning in hospitals, nursing homes and institutions, use 1 part to 110 parts of water (900 ppm active). This dilution will be effective as a germicide against salmonella choleraesuis, staphylococcus aureus, escherichia coli and pathogenic fungi. It will also be effective as a virucide against canine distemper, canine herpes and pseudorabies. Allow surface to remain wet for 10 minutes, then remove excess liquid. Prepare a fresh solution for each use.
For disinfection of operating rooms, it is recommended to use 1 part to 49 parts of water (900 ppm active) to ensure effectiveness against pseudomonas aeruginosa.
SANITATION:
If used for sanitation of food equipment or food contact items, limit the level of active sanitizer to 200 p.p.m. (1 part per 220 parts water). Rinse with potable water.
TOXICOLOGY:
Probably mucosal damage may contraindicate the use of gastric lavage. Measures against circulatory shock, respiratory depression and convulsion may be needed.
PRECAUTIONS:
KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. May cause severe eye irritation or eye damage. Wear eye protection. Causes skin irritation. Do not get in eyes, on skin or on clothing. Harmful if swallowed. Avoid contamination of food.
FIRST AID:
In case of contact with skin and eyes, wash thoroughly with water. If irritation persists, get medical attention. If swallowed, drink milk, egg whites, gelatin solution or if these are not available drink large quantities of water. Call a physician.
NOTICE TO USER:
This product is to be used only in accordance with the directions on this label. It is an offence under the Pest Control Products Act to use a control product under unsafe conditions.
The Agri-Food Safety Division, Agriculture Canada, has no objection to the use of this product in food plants when used according to label directions.
