A free-flowing, high neutralizing sour, fabric brightener and rust remover that may be used in areas where iron in the water supply causes fabric discoloration.
It is safe on all washable fabrics – cottons, woolens, linens and synthetic fibers when used as directed.
COMMERCIAL USE ONLY
When used for normal souring operations with water supply containing iron, use 1-2 oz per 50 lbs of fabric in last rinse cycle. The final pH should be kept at 5 if fabric needs brightening from earlier build up of iron.
To remove iron stains and badly discolored fabric, use 1-3 lbs of product per 50 lbs in wash cycle (do not use detergent, alkali or bleach with it). Water temperature should be kept at 60o-80oC (140-180oF). This procedure should be followed with 3-4 rinses leaving a final pH of 5 or higher. Excess of this product should be rinsed out.
Laundered fabrics for food plant use should be thoroughly rinsed with potable water.
Sodium silicofluoride, citric acid and oxalic acid.
Corrosive, contains acids. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Do not take internally. Do not mix with bleach and avoid inhaling the dust.
The Agri-Food Safety Division, Agriculture Canada, has no objection to the use of this product in food plants when used according to label directions.
